~Daily Download: Keiko Matsui

Title: Whisper from the Mirror by Keiko Matsui (SendSpace)
Genre: Piano/Instrumental/Ambient
Requestee: coldwriter with 108

Comments: I am a sucker for piano music, an absolute sucker. Gackt is all well and good, and I also like Yoshiki in terms of piano.. but my very favorite pianist is this woman right here, because her piano is integrated with other instruments and oh this song, it's my absolute favorite of hers.. so very haunting. In the grand Xenogears FST that I was working on (it's on the backburner with the realization that I could NEVER do Xenogears justice with an FST), it is the song that I use to define the man known as Hyuga Ricdeau (alias Citan Uzuki.) Because it just clicks for me, the song is full of mysteries and breathes, that underscore of sorrow detailing how he lost his entire family to a plauge in the 3rd Class Citizen quarters, I don't think he ever truly forgets it, no matter how far he ascends.. and that is why he does not owe his total alliance to Solaris. This is a gorgeous song and if you download anything from my journal, you defininitely download this.

Notable (Favorite) Lyrics: | "instrumental" |

Watched two episodes of d.greyman.

Lavi is utter cute on wheels. I like him. (Yes I know episode 12, repeat after me, "hyu lives in a box".)

Also, Komui with a drill.. = WIN! *overkill much? that's why I love him*

Komui and Kanda.. I definitely have those two in my muse box >.>

- to continue along that train of thought. (though it didn't help that I was listening to "Harder Better Faster Stronger" by Daft Punk (which is so a Komui song and he wants to share the rights to it with Akiha if he can)

Anyone wants to use it, they can.. just ask nicely and be sure to credit.

Damn, it's like I'm on a roll. Of course I made this icon based on Shakira's "Whenever, Wherever" and of course it is fastly becoming my Rukia/Byakuya song of choice. Sometimes it's not about lyrics, it's about the general -feel- of an icon. (and yes, Byakuya/Rukia is my het OTP of Bleach.. no bitter arguments over Ichigo/Rukia and Renji/Rukia. Since seriously, Rukia is too good for EITHER of them. Besides she looks like her sister, so I don't see how Byakuya couldn't look at her and feel conflicted, being that she resembles Hisane SO STRONGLY.

And these lines amused me.

"Lucky that my lips not only mumble
They spill kisses like a fountain
Lucky that my breasts are small and humble
So you don't confuse them with mountains
Lucky I have strong legs like my mother
To run for cover when I need it"

Teehee.. Rukia has small breasts.. /lol

So much love for Rukia. Anyways. Kuchikicest.. because it isn't really 'cest. ^_^V

Sorry for the many icon posts, I've just been without my twin star ALL DAY and I miss her, so I've been consoling myself with iconage.
