Lurkers out there, yo, today's your day. Whether you're a LJ-lurker or from someplace outside reading this journal, you are the reason this journal isn't locked by default. So, come out and say 'hi' or something. Tell me what you're doing here, how you feel, who you are, whatever. No need to be shy...*grins*
So come on, if you stumble across my journal today, just say Hi.. I'd love to hear from you and just shoot the breeze.'
And for all of you people that do not comment, but who I love just as much.. you guys can comment too. In fact anyone can comment.. YAY comments! *throws rice*
Title:The Sun Always Shines on TV by A-ha Genre: 80s Comments: A-ha is probably my favorite band -right- after Duran Duran and Depeche Mode. I think because it holds alot of truths for me. They are definitely tied with Sting. This song is particularly fitting.. but then A-ha.. is just one of those bands that reminds me of ice.. I don't know why but all of their songs give me the impression. A wall of ice through which everything looks almost surreal. I remember downloading this song and instantly falling in love with it. Though I did have this song downloaded like a few years ago, and then it didn't do anything for me. It is strange how music that one passed over a while back, comes back to you and rings on a different part of your heart.
Notable Lyrics: | I reached inside myself and found..// nothing there to ease the pressure of my every worried mind... |
Remember if you download, then by all means comment to tell me you nabbed it, and if by any chance it says that the link expired or is broken, then prod me in comments so that I can re-upload it. *hint: I also like to hear reactions to the songs that you download*
