Because the UK does not want US to view videos of their precious manband, but huzzah.. Germany comes in and MAKES IT ALL BETTER.

The Flood - Take That (official music video)

Jason is seven levels of yummy and Howard, Y SO SERIOUS? (I really love Howard's seriousness, it's adorable.) I already have my Jason screencaped and ready in photoshop for me to play with.

Everyone, enjoy the video.

Which is the one that wears the (possibly purple?) scarf in the Take That meets the lifestream (this is according to you) video? I really have no idea what I'm talking about, but in the video you sent me, which was the first Take That song I ever heard, there was somebody wearing a scarf, I think, and he was the one one I came to like.

Ignore my first comment, it made even less sense that this one.

Another Edit. I am loathe to say that I actually really enjoy the Flood now that I've watched the video.

I'm so glad you do, can't wait for the album. It's all that I can ramble about. Myself and Shuu tonight had an epic conversation about Take That on the fifteen minutes that it took us to get to the grocery store... and what we'd do if Robbie Williams tried to take over Jason's "Wooden Boat" and Howard's "What is Love" (hint: it involved bombs and assasin rifles)

Some offenses are just too grave; in such circumstances any self respecting fan would simply have to take Robbie out.

Sorry for vanishing the other night! You apparently made me overdose on your, as you say, Take Thattery. I was swooning over Howard's songs (he's totally lovely and in these vids he seems endearingly awkward even after all these years and Shuu certainly has fantastic taste, though I enjoyed 'Beautiful World' more than 'What is Love' and ZOMG if you had told me he was the drummer before I listened to these, there would have been no wondering who my favorite would be at all...) but then I suddenly passed out, exhausted. D: It took me AGES to figure out who the hell Jason was before the repost but, HELLO, he has a lovely bottom. But he also reminds me vividly of Graham Norton, so yeah... I'm glad to have found another guilty pleasure. Looking back, I'm pretty sure Take That was a bit before my teens, so I missed out on them when it comes to my shameless popscene love and I still think Robbie Williams is a bit of a tool, but I'll definitely be able to be enthusiastic with you about new stuff, especially when it's sort of amazing that Gary actually makes it easy to forget Robbie is there (going by The Flood alone)at all, though My God, is it just me or does that video make you want to actually like Robbie again?

Whoa, rambles. Short version, Howard... sexy, Take That...not awful. Robbie... not doomsday.

You know, I think that my favorite Take That Howard song is Mancunian Way, there was never a video for it, but it's just a really pretty song and he has a lovely voice, can't really get enough of it. (yes Shuu does have fantastic taste, he is lovely) Jason DOES have a lovely bottom and he's just endearingly goofy, he sort of got shortchanged the first time around because he never got solo songs backk in the 90s. His very first solo song was in fact "Wooden Boat" the song that he sang in that video.

I was fifteen when Take That was big in America iwth Back for Good, maybe I was sixteen, and then they disbanded. In 2005 or 2006 I found out that they had come out with a new album and I was like "ROCK ON!" and they had a new sound which I really fell in love with.

You know, Robbie isn't as bad as he was, and honestly, if Gary of all people can welcome Robbie back into the band (especially with how Robbie trash talked all of the members of Take That) then I can accept his presence. Jason will always be my favorite.

(I have a spare upload of The Circus Album if you want it... since the music on that album is insanely good and was what got Jennie hooked on the band (and Howard)

Take That - The Circus
Take That - Beautiful World

Both of those are a far departure from their boy band days, they still sing about love, but it's not teenaged love, it's love that breathes, lives and sometimes loses.

Thanks for these, by the way! I did download them, but haven't had a chance to give them a listen yet.

And me, I have no right to criticize anything boyband related. At the age of fourteen or so, I was one of those scary BSB fanatics. :P
