I think that I have two favorite characters in Durarara!!. Shizuo and Celty.

Shizuo takes tsuntsun to the utterly next level (he may be mega tsun tsun) and with Celty, the uber headless-moe really appeals to me.

But they are all really great characters. I am enjoying the series so far.

Yeah, itching to make icons of the series. Trying to hold out though.

I love Shizuo, and the montage of his rampages put me in stitches. ♥

I think a big draw is the characters, since while I don't want to spoil it no one is quite what they seem. And like I said earlier try not to get spoiled since the payoff of not knowing some stuff is definitely worth it.

I am not going to spoil myself for the series, I'm taking great pains not to and anyone who does will be shot on sight and probably evicted from my flist.

But Shizuo.. goodness, his throwing stuff at people just never gets old, I swear.

Yeah, he's just priceless.. and I love how wherever Izaya is.. he just sort of shows up and goes "GET OUT OF IKEBUKURO, SLIME." then things start getting tossed everywhere. Shizuo is an AMAZING character, but really they all are.

Yes they are, I love how he goes "You don't need a head to be beautiful, Celty" and then out goes the text messanger and she shoves it in his face.

I don't think I'll be able to see a FRIDGE without seeing a chibi Shizuo getting hit in the face by the plug.

It's cute.. makes me sad though when Yagiri looked down at Celty's head and was like "I love you Celty" and I was like "Oh goodie.. two men, one loves the head, the other loves the body"

Shizuo makes me happu, I love the eyebrow twitch.. it's so VIOLENT.

Agreed! I like a good amount of the characters, but they've stayed my favorites for twenty episodes now. There are some really cute friendship moments with them later on.

I also enjoy Simon. He's chill. ~~I would personally like to punch Izaya, on the other hand. Successful troll is quite successful.~~

Yeah, Izaya is pretty trollish. I had to laugh at the cellphone incident.

I need to pick up Durarara again. I watched the first twelve episodes or so and dropped it for some reason.

Celty and Shinra are amazingly cute, by the way.

Celty and Shizuo are wonderful candidates for favorites. *A*; As it stands, I think Kida and Celty are my favorites, so there you go. How far have you gotten in the series? :o

Only episode 7, basically got to the Shizou's backstory.
