~And we make this new religion, to escape what we've become~
Damn, it is taking a long time to read aloud the "American Heiress" to my husband. On the way up to Montana I was playing with my newly aquired gameboy advance so there was no reading aloud, however on the way back from Idaho Falls to Mountain Home, it was lovely plumy reading. This book is really funny, because my husband was laughing his ass off while we were driving. Typical story involving an American. The American was sent to England to come out and her father is uber wealthy. The Lord is basically poverty stricken because his father and brother were wastrels and then decided to get themselves killed in a boating accident. So he marries the American, it is a marriage of convenience in which she gives him the money he needs to repair his home of birth and then she bears him a son, then moving back to American. Right now she is preggy... wheeeee.
How is it that no one can tell that they are preggy in regencies? I mean I am sure that I would know that I am pregnant just from how I feel. I suppose it is more dramatic when you have a doctor say, "Ma'am, you are with child"
I don't want babies, well I don't want to physically have them. Maybe if we adopt. *ponders this*
