I live! No seriously I do.

So how is everyone over here. Sorry about that, beeing over at IJ for the most part. (Hey, I have 5,000 icon slots over there.. how can I possibly complain)

I am thinking of like doing away with all the icons over here and uploading new ones. I have a bunch of Eshild ones that beg to be used as well as some FFIV ones (from the DS remake. Been playing that, and Crisis Core which is strangely addicting.. thus forcing me to eat my words that FF7 is a waste of time.. well wait, the actual game is.. I liked Crisis Core though, and Zack is a fairly decent main character.. he's certainly endeared himself to me where Cloud generally can't)

So how is everyone? Anything new to report?

I go back and forth between working in the men's and womens's departments DX!

Well then we are almost like sisters.. because I'm a softlines processor, I work night shift so I put away alot of the clothes, all the men's underwear (because they like to stick me there to look at all of the packages.. ugh) and basically take care of the hanging freight! YAY! *hugs*

I work during the night, and the night shift is utterly devoid of most Walmart drama.. thank the gods. >.

I've seen a few fashion processors during the day and it looks like hard work XP. Well for me, we cater to some of the worst characters for customers ever. And as such, we end up having to retape packages 5,6 times, pick up the food and junk they leave(including used diapers) and listen to all the whines and screaming. Man I wish I could enjoy your quiet work time D:*hug*!

Oh gods, I know exactly what you are talking about. I mean I always hate seeing broken packages sprawled around. We blame it on the canadians.. and concentrating on the zone is like insane.. (oh yes and the mountain of returns that are there throughout the day.. just ugh). Processing is fun if a bit monotonous.. because it's like opening boxes, take out the stuff.. see if it will go, and if it doesn't leave it in the box for day shift to bin.

So anyways.. are you a super or just a regular.

Hey don't blame Canada DX! Me, I'm just a part timer but my boss always manages to call me in, it's gone to the point that I have to tell my family not to answer the phone when walmart calls just to get a little "me" time!

Oh gods, they can't call me in for overtime since I've a set schedule and on average there are only three of us in the store at night (three softlines processors).

Last night everyone left women's in a mess, so we had to zone, it made me sniffle just a little bit.

I practically tear up, everytime I look around the department after my lunch/dinner breaks :(!

Oh yes, it's just the most.. helpless feeling in the world. I feel that all the time when I leave and the store looks somewhat decent and then I come back 16 hours later and the entire departments is in a shambles.

Doesn't it just make you want to scream and pull your hair out XP?

It makes me want to scream and pull CUSTOMERS hair out.

I honestly don't know how people can go in there and toss shit around. And the worst is the shirt tables. (The NoBo section makes me want to commit genocide on all girls between the ages of 13 and 17.)

I hear you! I spend like an hour trying to get the tables looking nice, they tell us to focus on the merchandise that is near to the doors as it's the first things the customers see. And what do they do...? Argh! Don't even get me started on the underwear, like who would want to buy stuff that is that close to your girly/boy bits after it's been on the floor D:?

Man all the walmart rantin' is therapeutic :D!

You know, I agree with you, I don't know why they insist on taking it out of the packaging. I mean there are plenty of underwear on HANGERS for people to look at.. no they have to open up the Hanes or Fruit of the Loom and just tear it all asunder. (A few months ago though a pair of women's underwear was found crumpled in a stall in the men's bathroom.. now that's food for thought)

Oh indeed it's very theruputic.. and yes, it's unfortunate that the NoBo section is right near the entrance.. because that place is just the site for the apocalypse.
