Extensive Review of new Take That album coming soon. (I downloaded it, feeling justified because I have done the good thing and preordered it *once again thank you zweilous.)

The second playthrough is so much better, the first playthrough you're like "What the hell?" but the second one, you can see and hear the infectuous melody hooks that Gary Barlow is quite simply known for. But it is true, there are no "Greatest Day"'s "Shine"'s or "Beautiful World"'s. This album is Take That, but after a breakup and with extensive meds and illegal substances.

Mmmm that's how I am with any new album. Maybe because you don't know what to expect but then again, you do. So you're a bit biased so at first you're just like, ".....no they didn't!" and then you sit down and give them a chance, lol.

Yeah, I think that as far as doing an album that is 'different' (because they've done several albums that have been all rabu~rabu happy love yay sunshine sparkles gary's bum shine) they've done it, and I think it's come out very well. They've pushed each other vocally and I think it's very strong in that regard. And there are some songs that I was like "why?" initially but second playthrough I finally saw what they were doing... and what they've got is pretty damn good.

I like how you described your thoughts on the album after the second playthrough! I like when artists and groups are able to do something different in a new album but you are still reminded of what makes them who they are and what they're known for as musicians at the same time. It takes a lot of work, talent, creativity, and experience to do that successfully...which is great when you can tell it's done with a lot of care.

Well in depth will come, I really want to get aquainted intimately with the album, but they are definitely doing something new and different and it's pretty awesome, it grows on you insiduously. And the piano hooks from "Happy Now" really makes me think of Yasunori Mitsuda at his finest (brings me to mind of Chrono Trigger)
